The Herefordshire countryside needs individuals to oppose this scheme. It can hopefully be defeated if enough people are willing to send in objections to Herefordshire County Council.

So,

  • if you disapprove of this major development in a beautiful and quiet rural area,
  • if you don’t want to see valuable farmland wasted by industrial-scale development,
  • if you believe that solar panels should be restricted to roofs of buildings, around and over car parks, on brownfield sites, down the sides of motorways and in industrial development areas where the power is needed,

then please register your objection with the Herefordshire Planning Department.

The Herefordshire Council’s Planning Portal is no longer available for objections to be made.  However there are still two ways for you to object:

  1. you can send an email to planning_enquiries@herefordshire.gov.uk or
  2. you can send your objection by post to Planning Services, PO Box 230, Hereford HR1 2ZB.

Ensure your comments are received by Herefordshire Council as soon as possible to make sure that they are taken into account and include the application reference number – which is 243282.

Focus your objection on material planning considerations like planning policies, local amenity, visual impact and highway safety and say what this application will mean to you and how it affects you and your enjoyment use and appreciation of the Herefordshire countryside affected.
